Default Breastfeeding debate on fb ....

My friend has come up with this idea of posting as our profile pics a picture of us feeding our baby or similar modest pics to show that we support breastfeeding and hopefully get our veiw out that nothing is more natural than breastfeeding while facebook debates whether to ban it or not ... in her words... insert friends name ... "is DISGUSTED that there is even a CONSIDERATION of weather BREAST FEEDING ON FACEBOOK should be banned ..... WHAT ON EARTH IS NEXT ...... i have already been asked to FEED IN MACDONLADS TOILETS in my breast feeding experiences ... and now you will limit BREASTFEEDING PICS ON FB ... YET !! half the women on here are ALLOWED to post pics of themselves in dressed with only NIPPLES COVERED AND HALF AN *** CHEEK ??? what a JOKE !!
IN DISGUST I AM POSTING THE CLOSEST THING I HAVE TO ME BREASTFEEDING AS MY PROFILE PIC ... MY son IS 2 MIN OLD NUZZLING AT MY BREAST BARELY VISIBLE , BUT IM POSTING ONE OF THE MOST PRECIOUS MEMORIES I HAVE IN PROTEST !!
anyone going to join me ??

I think that a coordinated visual protest ie women changing their profile pic to one of them breast feeding, is a good idea.

However, that awful capitalised rant, with its appalling sentence structure and over abundance of !!! and ??? left me cringing. The reference to McDonalds is completely irrelevant to the issue at hand. If I ever put anything remotely like that as my status my friends might rightly suppose that I had sustained a brain injury.

I will this time. I actually made a comment to a fb debate regarding breast feeding in public last night. I'm with you!

Breastfeeding IS the most natural way to feed your baby, if people don't want to believe that then they are naive. I've dont the visual protest before and often link and post pictures and pages to my FB advocating my support toward breastfeeding, 99% of the time I recieve nothing but wonderful comments and fellow support, but 1% of the time someone will come in with there anti-breastfeeding opinions, I don't bother with them anymore, they don't affect my opinion and they certainely wouldn't stop me from breastfeeding. Breast is best
