    Default 28 week scan. Do you have do the big drink?

    28 week scan. Do you have do the big drink?

    I never had one at this stage. I forgot to ask. The scan is at 9 am so I can't ring and ask.

    Nope. Bub is big enough now to not need a full bladder.

    I had a bit of an embarrassing moment at my 20 week scan, where I had drank the 2 glasses of water prior to the scan. But I then was made to wAit 2 hours. By the time I had my scan I was bursting, and the sonographer told me off for letting it get so full. Hmpphh I was just trying to follow their instructions lol

    I had a scan a few weeks ago at 32 weeks and I was told to drink 600ml an hour before hand, I knew it would be impossible for me to hold it that long so I only drank about half of that about 30 mins beforehand and they had no problems.

    I'm having one next week at 29 weeks and was told to drink 1L an hour before. I probably won't. I find I don't scan well when my bladder is too full.
