    Default Baby Monitors

Can you please give me some ideas for a good, trustworthy baby monitor that is not over priced?

We have had two oricom monitors and they have been great. No static and really clear.

are they all the same? i mean, are the ones that have the camera better than the ones without the camera? what about the movement sensors? etc...
my son is 11, so it's been a while since i've had to think about this stuff and there's soooo many new things on the market now, i had a basic one with ds.

Angelcare, the one without the sensors is perfect for me.

    Yep, it's another iPhone

I have anglecare with sensors and camera but my baby isn't born yet so can't say how good it is. Works though used it for my nephew.

I've got a uniden, it's actually a surveillance cam that was repackaged but it's so good.

We bought an oricom video monitor but as bub is still in our room haven't used it yet. I did a lot of research and Oricom seemed to come up with lots of positive reviews.

As for video or not..comes down to a personal preference though all the mums I talked to raved about how handy a video monitor is.

I have the oricom video too and love it. I like the video as I can see DD wake before she starts crying and go into her then. It also has two way talk function. When my older nephew was here (1 year old) I could talk and tell him I was coming, which was handy.

I have an oricom monitor with temperature and sound but no video. It's perfect for me, sound is clear and range is excellent!

The video ones, although they would give peace of mind, I find a bit too much. I know my dd's noises enough now to know when I need to check on her.
