    Default Wow, I'm shocked

After reading another thread where a member's posts were used against them in the workplace, I'm just gob smacked that someone could stoop so low to stalk someone on a public forum and do something like that!

Yes its a public forum, but geez, can't people have a vent without fear of retribution anymore? Apparently not.

I have said some things on here that I probably wouldn't say in real life, now no one here will feel safe to post stuff.

Think I might change my name to something totally left field, my current name is too obvious!

There's a sinister undercurrent for sure.

Hahaha no, I'm not creative enough to come up with something as awesome as your username!

Even with a name change I suppose if people really want to find you, they will

I'm not too concerned, as long as what I post is factual or my opinion, and not breaching any 'rules'.
I've seen friends be fired over posts they have made about work etc on facebook, blogs and forums because of company policy against posting about work on social medias. I've even known one person to be caught out by centrelink for things she posted on a forum.

    Very crummy thing to happen

Will make me think twice before posting in the future, that's for sure!

I don't post on the hub too much but I read a fair bit here and there. Just from this much bubhub usage i know a particular members full name, her childs name, where she lives, that she lives alone most weeks, what she looks like and more...a bit too much for a stranger to know about someone i think. No one knows who is reading along and taking notes down, there could be anyone that could track people down, its scary...I can't stress enough how important it is to keep your personal details private.

Don't think you can win it 2 years in a row for same username STVD.

Some people are like slinkies. Useless but still give you a laugh when you push them down a flight of stairs
