    Default When did your LO start sitting?

    Hi everyone. I was just wondering when your bubs started to sit?? Generally you read its by 6months..but with DD getting her to do tummy time for mins is a struggle..shes 5m and doesnt look like she'll be sitting by 6months . and on top of that my mums worrying me by saying 'all you kids started sitting by 5 months!! ' thanks mum for not worrying me

    Dd wasn't until 11 months, but she was crawling at 4.5 months... Ds was probably about 6.5, and not even looking like crawling anytime soon. He is 7.5 months.

    DS is 6 months and can sit for short periods on his own, still doesn't have the balance thing 100% though so if he leans back to far , or to the side he topples over. He started commando crawling at 5.5 months. Your bub will do it in her own time. Theres quite a large window of normal

    DS is 9 months and only starting sitting around 2 weeks ago.. it's only been the past week that his able to sit for long periods

    Do not worry at all! All babies are different. DS1 didn't sit until he was 9 and a half months. It's all totally normally just like they all walk at different times

    My DD was 7 months when she started sitting unaided . I don't think you have anything to worry about just yet!
