Default When does the whinging stop?

DD is 18 mo, she is and always has been a very active girl. She babbles a lot but has a few words, mama dada nana chippies shoes. We are a bilingual house and she understands everything in both languages.

She is doing our head in with whinging, she seems to get frustrated or bored and whinges, its always worse in the morning. Its incessant and just awful. I play with her read with her etc but she bores easily and gets annoyed when i cant do the next thing with her. Im not sure if its because she cant communicate with us.

Can anyone tell me when the whining stops?

    We are exhausted by her!

Hi my son is the same age as your daughter and his the same, sometimes i think its cause he wants to tell me something but can't so he just gets frustrated, but his only my first so i wouldn't know the answer to your question but i would think it will only get worst as he gets older and starts talking and they will prob whinge much more

I think the way they whinge changes, or what they whinge about... but they seem to keep on doing it. DD, age 6.5, whinges more now than she has previously. She whinges all the freaking time.

Crunchie, we live in a bilingual home too, and my DD is just over 2 years old. She has been whinging a lot from 9 months, with massive tantrums thrown in the mix. Bilingual children are often a little slower in the initial language development, and she doesn't have a big vocabulary yet.

However, in the last month her language has improved greatly, and she is so much less grumpy and frustrated. She is actually quite pleasant!!!!

Every child is of course different, but I am hoping you will find that she whinges less as she gets better at expressing herself.

I'm just going to live in ignorant bliss and ignore WCM's above post.
