Don't bother with fancy ovulation predictor tests waste of money and not accurate enough. Also suggested DH have a sperm analysis. Not exactly the optimism I was looking for really. So back to charting my temps and opk for best possible chance.

Whaaaa? Doctors can be so dim sometimes. Do you have to have proof that you've been ttc for 12 months? I mean, how do you prove that? Rofl. Photographic evidence?! Sorry, I don't mean to make light of the situation, it just seems so stupid!
Could you try a different doc and tell them that you've been ttc for over 12 months? I don't know if you need a history with them or anything .

Its amazing how insensitive some docs can be... My bestie went through the same thing...she ended up going to another doc and telling them she had been ttc for a few months longer than she had been...she was sent for blood tests and a few days after getting her test done she fell pregnant so nothing else came of it

maybe bayby, go see another doc at the same practise and tell them you've been ttc for 10 months and WANT tests done. doesnt cost you to have bloods done and it will give you peace of mind. i have been referred to a recurring m/c specialist even tho it wasnt reoccurring at that stage (who knows, if i have a 3rd it will be!!!!), and then altho i was happy with her, i couldnt get into her very often as it was public hosp. so went back to my doc and got referred for a FS, and he was wonderful. he said he prefers seeing people after trying for 6 months, as that way in the next 6 months you can still be trying, but having tests done like day 21 prog test, getting your sugars tested and scans done on your ovaries and uterus, and seeing if you have any blood clotting disorders and getting semen analysis. and yes although this doesnt take 6 months to get all these done, then atleast once you hit the 1 year mark, you can say you've done all your effective 'trying' and done all the tests and then you can go onto next step of assistance with drugs like clomid etc and then onto next step of IVF, instead of wasting a whole year wondering. he was very firm on wanting to see people earlier for this reason, that many docs just send you away and insist that you wait the entire year just coz you're under 35. go and see another doc seriously chicki, it is so annoying TTC month after month and continually waiting.

I have been told i have a clotting disorder, but shouldnt prevent conceiving nor would it be reason for my body m/c at 6 weeks both times, but it's good to know i'll have it, coz fingers crossed when i do conceive i will have to have injections each day once i hit 6/8 week mark

Yep I agree with merri berri too, go and see another doctor. It's your body, you have the right to ask for some tests...
CD17 for me. I would like to know when/if I've ovulated, ff says CD14. How often are you all DTD around O time? Every night for us since CD10, don't want to be a party pooper, but I'm tired! Just scared I'll miss O day if we don't...

I am still away and come beck to DF tomorrow. According to my temp I haven't ovulated yet. I think I'm CD17 or 18 witch is about normal for me. I don't think we've caught the egg with me being away right before ovulation. Will have to DTD as soon as I get home!

Welcome to the March thread JaquiLea! I'm getting so excited, there's so many people who're going to be testing in March that I can't wait to see who gets the first BFP .

Bubby4us - I reckon that's a great idea. I'm not going to tell DH when we're ok to do the non-contraceptive babydance, I'm just going to spring it on him. Otherwise there'll be the "Can we do it yet" dance instead. The whole time. Hahahahaha.

I was thinking to myself "Ok, we can go contraception free a few days before O, and then not at all the day beforehand (for our baby girl sway) or from after that until CD30ish".
But then I realised (duh) that from CD1 onwards we won't have to use contraception until the day before O. Hubby's going to be stoked haha. Not that we BD while af is in town, but yeah.... You get the idea.
Makes me feel a bit better about the wait. The BDing that we do up until my fertile time won't be 'productive' as such, but it'll still be fun .

For everyone! So close to testing time for a lot of people now Waiting to hear other people's bfps is ALMOST as exciting as waiting for my own *chuckle*. Lets hope someone from here is the first one to post in the "Expecting in December 2012" thread
