i agree this is definitely one of the best and nicest threads i've been in, i feel lucky to have found it! Boost you should hang around, i'm sure i'll be joining you in the april thread!

AFM - CD12 and the line on my OPK is still quite light. i don't know if this is normal or not as this is my first month using them. i'm sure i've been ovulating the last couple of months (O pain, EWCM, etc) but i'm now worried that my LP is too short (Oed somewhere between CD14 and CD17 last month - AF arrived on what would have been CD26)

anyway i hope everyone is well and trying to enjoy this TTC business! fingers crossed for some more BFPs in here soon

Lots to catch up on today!

    @Boost -
I just wanted to echo (Eko... Hahahah... urh...) what the others have said. Please don't leave us! You're still a March lady, you're just testing in April as well You're not stupid or idiotic, you're hopeful and that's the best thing to be Sorry to hear you got ignored at the Clomid thread. I guess sometimes when there's a tight group it's hard to be heard. So stay with us a while longer, worst case scenario you'll have a few of us coming into an April thread with you anyway.

@Lollie – What IS your body up to? Sounds like it just wants to make things confusing for you! Don't forget though, sometimes your O date can be completely messed up so you never know. It might just take a few more days to hit you

@Bella – I know what you mean about super impatience. I have no idea what dpo I am either. Normally I'd be due to O tomorrow, but frankly I think I already have. So I'm going to go ahead and assume that I'm about 3-4 dpo and leave it at that heh.

@grumpy – Ah, the superbrat days. Don'tcha love 'em? Heh. But you know as well as I do that you're thinkin' BABIES ARE AWESOME! Which they totally are. So there.

@Marga – Aww sorry the witch caught you. I think retail therapy is totally justified in this instance. Well every instance actually. Did I mention I'm a shopaholic? STOP JUDGING ME. Rofl.

@Suzi – It's so frustrating when you have no idea when you Od and you're hoping that it was right after af isn't it. It's like, the most unlikely thing ever and the possibility that it is what happened is so small... But it still doesn't stop you from thinking every single little thing is a symptom. I kinda wished I didn't know as much about conception as I do now. When I had DS I tested way to early and got a bfp so I didn't think about it for another two weeks when I tested on a whim and got a big fat bfp lol.

@angelini – Oh my goodness. You have incredible willpower! There's no way known I could wait until 4 days before af is due. I'll be testing my FMU on my testing day and not a second later!

@Kyls – I think experiences on BH really come down to what you let worry you. Trolls exist everywhere online. The best thing is to be able to recognise when you're being trolled and learn not to feed 'em . I make a mental note of people who're being jerks and just ignore them. It's fun knowing that they're going to realise that I don't give two hoots what they think hehe.
(As a side note, we're just plain awesome so of course this thread is going to be awesome. We can't help ourselves )

@mrstuilawa – I have very light opks as well, but I think it's just because I probably (hopefully!) was testing after I'd already Od. The tricky thing with them is that you never really know how to read them for your cycle until you've gone through a few and seen what the average response is. Dratted things are tricky blighters.

AFM – I'm going to join in the general back-patting. You ladies are lovely to chat with and I never feel like I'm being judged or ignored. It's nice hehe. Not to mention I go from some threads that I've gotten curious about where it seems that everyone just wants to scratch each other's eyes out to coming in here where everyone is calm, supportive, and just generally lovely to talk to. It's a big difference.
Also, my name is Eko and I'm a poasaholic. Hi Eko...
I managed to survive one whole day without peeing on any sticks whether hpt or opk. Pretty sure that should get me some sort of award. Lets see if I can survive tomorrow. Another 10 more days to go.

TMI. You have been warned. Hahahaha.

Ok so I'm totally my own worst enemy.
According to all of the research I've been reading (I know I know, I really NEED to stop doing that!) your cervix should be low and firm after O, until close to af when it goes high and soft.
It's also supposed to be high and soft once pregnant, but that can take some time to happen.

I know for a fact that there was only one time that we've dtd so far where my cervix hasn't been low and firm. Which was the day directly after af flew the coop. Every other time it's been low and firm. Which leads me to believe that it's very possible that I DID O early.... Fffffffffffff! I wish I could stop obsessing!

SOMEONE GET THE MEN WITH THE WHITE JACKETS AND BUTTERFLY NETS! STAT! Lol.

I didn't realise it before but it's not too hard to tell. It involves getting friendly with your lady parts though *chuckle*. I'm doing a lot of TMIs lately, so I'll white text this for anyone that's uncomfortable with getting up close and personal with your bits. Just drag your cursor from one smiley face to the other with your mouse button if you want to read on.

Basically your clean middle (ie. wash your hands first) finger into your vagina. You could wear latex gloves too, if you don't want to get that intimate. I recommend your middle finger because it's the longest so if your cervix is higher you should still be able to reach it.
I would say anything up to about half way up the second joint would be considered 'low' and anything from there up to the top knuckle would be considered 'high'. That's not a hard and fast rule though, everyone's body is a little different.

Looking at pictures online of a cervix can give you an idea of what you're feeling for, and that was how I began to understand what was going on in there.
I knew that mine was low because when I checked, my middle finger went in literally only up to the first joint before I could feel my cervix. That for me is pretty darn low.

It's honestly not that bad, think highschool biology. But I just figured some people may not want to know about how I found out how my cervix feels *dies of laughter*. It was all in the name of science, I promise! I was hoping for early symptoms but turns out checking your cervix is extraordinarily inaccurate so back to the drawing board.

    Hello ladies,

I have been following your thread for a little while and would love to join if you will have me?

I am currently on cd9 and according to my usual cycle should O late next week. I had a very strange cycle last month so to ensure I know when I O I have some OPK's. When do you ladies usually start testing?

My hubby and I fell pg with our first little prince first month we tried so this time round is proving to be slightly more trying. I am very impatient and like to know what's going on...

Is anyone else going to O next week or are most of your further along in your cycle?

I hope everyone had a good weekend

    Welcome Jellytot,
Just and update ladies, I dont have to squint my eyes to see the line on my opks anymore. So they are finally getting darker. So yes just O-ing way later then what my normal cycle would be. Only 4 more months of trying before we need to go back to our specialist and get things checked out. The specialist will probably help me track my cycles a little better with ultra-sounds around O time.

    Cool Me again!

Hi lovely ladies! I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
Its been a pleasure reading all your posts. Surely someone is going to get a bfp soon?!
as for me, I'm 10dpo (I think!) and not really feeling any symptoms. Af is due about Saturday I think. I feel like I'm smelling more than normal, and a bit cramping in my tummy area. But that's it.
I will probably wait till the end of the week before poas!
    take care ladies !
