I've decided to OPK twice a day now after reading that a lady had her surge over a 20 hr period only. OMG. *freaking out* lol.

That kinda happened to me this month. I was testing with OPKs every day, about midday. I got a negative on CD10 and before that (there were test lines there, just not equal or darker than control line). On CD11 morning, I got the ovulation pain, did an OPK right then to check and it was positive. The next day (midday) I did another OPK, and it was negative again (lighter than the control line). So in hindsight I should have done tests twice per day to catch it. My BBT chart confirmed ovulation on CD11 too, so I'm fairly sure I ovulated then.

I really recommend tracking your cycles using something so you can look at your patterns.
I use Ovuview on my android smartphone and its great and free.

Oh! 'droid apps! My favourite! lol I'm going to see if it's compatible with my phone.

On the subject of 'droid apps, what other ones do you ladies have that are pregnancy or TTC related?

I bought 'My Days' too but didn't like it all compared to Ovuview. Thats all I have (except for a Baby Countdown that snuck onto my phone - just in hope lol) so I'm interested to hear as well.

I actually used Period Tracker for a while there, and still do as a kind of side app. It's great because all you do is mark the days you have your period on the calender. It will automatically guess your O date as well, but it's much more simple than the FF app.
It was great because it meant that when I started with FF I had all the dates of my last 3-4 cycles already there to enter in. It has a symptom thing in it as well, but I found I really only wanted to track dates. Very helpful for a quick and easy, no fuss date tracker.

I've actually been using FF for a bit, but I tend to find it's all a bit TOO technical for me. I don't know anything about luteal phases etc, so some of the data just confuses the stuffing out of me. Just working out the days that we should be doing the bd has me confused enough! Heh.

If you ever want to get right into it and read all there is to know about fertility, I recommend buying a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It's a hefty read but it's an easy one if you've had a bit of a play with Fertility Friend in the past.

I had a bit of a read up on Vitex tonight and was a bit put off by it. It seems it can either make your cycles longer or shorter or really just mess them up all together. Although I didn't read a LOT about it but what I did read put me off.

There seems to be so many options out there for the entire fertility business that without me going to the doctor or a specialist I could just be delaying a pregnancy. But I wanna do what I gotta do.

I'm mega tired, I'm probably dribbling on like a crazy person now

Good night ladies and beautiful dreams to you all when you go to bed too
