Default What are the single mums studying ATM?

Just wondering if anyone else is studying this semester? I'm training to be a tech teacher. Starting in 2 weeks time! Very excited cos it's a non traditional trade for women that I do and I love the thought of encouraging other women to give it a go.

Nope not at the moment. I'm a qualified childcare worker, have done teacher aide training and some disability training. I need to work out what course to do where I can study in a flexible way and get through it fast that will lead me into employment that fits in with a schoolie. Lol. I like what you are doing, it's great to work in a field you enjoy.

I'd like to do my cert 2 in business and IT but the tafe hasn't replied to my email yet grrrr. I want to get as many certs as I can before I have to look for work when ds is 6 or 8. So I actually have some training in my career field, I want to work in data entry and possibly in a library.

Yes this misspelt post has come from an iPhone.

Ghost dancer, I haven't found that place yet. I was told it was subsidized at all. I have to pay full fees of about $2200 but my local tafe luckily does a payment plan with 1/4 deposit. I have applied for part fees to be waived on grounds that it will cause me hardship but will do course even if it's not granted

Law, which given our situation I always find ironic , just picking up where I left off when I stopped working really.

That sounds very interesting Ana, what sorts of things does it cover?
