    Every day.

I could go without prior to my op, but I really need the protein now. I understand you can get protein from other sources, but I need 60g of protein a day, and I can eat less than 1 sushi roll at a meal... so I kinda need the highest amount of protein in hte smallest amount of food.

It's not often we have poultry or red meat during the day. Tinned fish quite often, though.
Dinners.. we have meat/fish/chicken with dinner 4-5 nights a week.

I've just done the next 14 days worth of meal planning and only 2 of the nights are vegetarian, but they have eggs instead.
2 of our meat meals are made with tin tuna though.
And we eat a lot of cheap chicken drumsticks.
DH takes the leftovers for lunch so he very rarely would have a meatless day.

4 days a week on average - but that's because I cook meat twice a week and I always cook double so every dinner is tomorrow's lunch.

6 days a week, 2 chicken, 1 fish and the rest beef/lamb or pork depending on what we feel like having, I tend to do more basic stuff when hubby is away.

meat and/or eggs at least 2ce a day most days, and at least once every day. it ain't a meal if there's no meat or eggs! i can't imagine having it any less often.
