My first goal was 8 weeks (I'd heard that's the hardest).
Next goal was 6 months. Once we reached that I decided on 12 months. She'll be 1 at the end of this month and I'll probably day wean but keep the morning an night feed until she is 18 months.

My goal with DS was 2 years. I made it 2 years, 3 months.
My goal with DD was 1 year (I had a LOT more problems with her). She's 1 year, 2 weeks and still going.

Didn't have a goal with DD, only got to 3mths, was very disappointed to find out after getting some great advice and help from an LC with DS that I could have gone longer if I'd had the same help first time around.

DS is just shy of 9mths and going strong- feeding right now!.My goal is at least 12mths, more so I do not need to use formula, however I hope to got between 1-2 years I think.

I didn't have a goal, just went with the flow as long as bub was happy which didn't turn out to be very long due to health issues, 4mths with ds1 and 6 weeks with ds2

I wanted to make it to 12 months. I went back to work when she was almost 8 months old so started comping with formula about a month before that. I got so busy and she was just as happy with formula that eventually I was only feeding her when she occasionally woke overnight, but by 10 months she didn't need that anymore. She's turning one this month and I feel a bit sad that I'm not breastfeeding her anymore; I think I'll try harder to make the time with the next one. I do wonder when my milk will dry up though, lol.

My original goal was 6 months but it quickly changed to 12 months.
We're up to 10 months now and I'm happy to keep going until he self weans.
