I can't remember what my goal was before I started, but it evolved into at least two years fairly early on, and I made it despite returning to pt work very early.

I guess I will aim for the same again, although i'd like to stick it out to 3 but might get sick of it like I did last time.

Although I still felt guilty when I weaned him that he was missing out. It seems to be our lot in life to feel guilty.

Minimum 2 years, no upper limit, but planned to give ebm via cup and on cereal or mixed in with mash, but we made to around 3, although I can't remember exactly when she gave up. I had been working a couple of years but she had no other milk until over 3.

My goal was at least 2 years and then when she wanted to stop. We stopped at 22 months as I have very low AMH and needed to use fertility drugs for IVF. It was a very hard decision. I didn't believe my fertility dr to start with and did my own research. I read numerous papers from the Lactation Resource Centre and the dr was right. So we stopped and luckily I conceived first try with IVF.y goal for this bubba is the same (beyond 2yrs)

With DS1 it was 1year, but only made it to 10 mths. I don't really have a goal with ds2, but we are going strong at 8mths

Goal was 6mths exclusive with comp to 1year....we are at 5mths now and sadly have to start weaning early (to comp feed). I feel so guilty but am hoping that at least 2 feeds b/f per day is giving some small benefit at least
