I've always had dramas getting UTD. Took 2 years with my first pretty much straight away with my second and 18 months with my third.

With my third I did 6 months naturally and then 8 cycles (8 months) of clomid with 1 MC and then straight into IVF. Trying for my 3rd was when I was diagnosed with PCOS.

. I hope your BT can shed some light on whats going on.

Thanks! Good luck to you too, especially with your tests, I know how much it sucks with testing...we saw a gynae for a few months late last year before we moved state but I wasn't very happy with her, she never told me what my levels actually were, etc and wasn't very informative. I went through a few cycles of having Day 10, Day 12, Day 21, etc blood tests and it bites, but it's got to be worth it if you can get answers right?! I did one cycle of Clomid, was HORRENDOUS b!tchface from hell, and couldn't sleep for nearly 2 weeks because the hot flushes were so bad! I also got severe headaches and nausea =( And after all that, the Clomid did...wait for it...nothing!
I think it is all of those things and my other symptoms which are making my new doctor think it might be PCOS, something my previous gynae didn't even discuss with me! hmmmm.
As for OPKs, nope, I have never had any success with them at all, even on Clomid (but in saying that of course, I didn't O on Clomid so that's probably why).

I am so distressed today, I don't know what they are going to do or suggest to help this happen for us. I know I've got PMS etc but I'm so teary and hopeless today, I can't see how they can help me if even a low dose of Clomid makes me so ill and doesn't do anything? What's next? I'm so sick of having to tell DH the tests are negative and nothing's happening...he wants to be a Dad too, and is so incredibly supportive even when I am moody and emotional and pathetic about it all...even when I bite his head off for things that aren't his fault.

    Yayyy hopefully!!!! Welcome..
We are cycle buddies again this month
I'm so sorry u are having a rough time ATM - I had that last week
But my hubby and I have booked a holiday in 8 weeks time so looking forward to that....
Like I said in my pm if u need a good referral to a specialist the one I go to is excellent!!!
I wish you the best of luck this month xx

As a pp said about opk's and pcos
I have pcos and opk's dont work for me - it's positive ALL the time!!!
It's because pcos sufferers can have high lh levels For the entire cycle...
    I hope this helps

This thread is very quiet! I am now cd 10 and will be going to fs on cd13 for scan and hopefully trigger. I am a little concerned that I will have too many follies for trigger as I doubled my dose of clomid this month even though I have o'd each month on the lower dose. I guess I will find out on Thursday. I will also be talking to fs about ivf as I think I may have to go down that route unfortunately. Fx we all get our bfp in March :-D

No iui yet but I am going to talk to him about that on Thursday too. I have only 2 rounds of clomid left before I believe I will have to take a break (I am on my fourth round now) so I want to make sure I do everything I can to make it work before forking out the big bucks for ivf.
