I'm glad the family has loads of milk for their new bub now.
What a tragedy My heart breaks for this family.
Sending lots of love and light to help them through this difficult time.
Such a tragedy, heart breaks for the family.
I am appalled at our media in general, but when they pick apart a tragic death, I am disgusted.
Channel 9 is the absolute worst too.
I agree that it is shameful how the media picks up stories like this, to point out, in their view, the "cause" of the death (even if they don't say it that way). "Homebirth," the word, is splashed around like a warning sign, and gives people not only the encouragement to say "BAN HOMEBIRTH!" but also even more unhelpful and cruel sentiments such as, "Well, she she knew the risks of homebirthing, didn't she?"
I have no doubt that some people out there will be saying these sorts of things about this story, and it sicks me how disgusting people can be.
Such a sad situation but as others have said, the 'homebirth' can't be demonized. Can't believe that this makes the news but all the deaths through the main****** medical system don't.

Really sad news, but I was so pleased to see an update on FB on Saturday that the family already had enough breastmilk donors to keep bub going. Lovely.
