    Default Random Bruise on Thigh

    Hello

I have just discovered a relatively big, dark coloured bruise on my thigh. I am 6 weeks pregnant and cannot recall doing anything to justify a bruise that dark. I don't usually bruise unless I hit myself really hard. Is this a pregnancy related thing?

Looking closely its near a patch of spider veins and is quite blotchy. I have a dr appointment Friday but curious to know what could have caused it.

Is bruising more severe in pregnancy or could it mean something else?

Maybe up your iron intake! Pregnancy takes a lot out if you, even during early stages. I'd suggest taking Ferro Grad C. When I was anaemic I was covered in bruises.
