The lowest scoring from each group of contestants have an elimination cook off back at "HQ" and then the loser from that goes home. Then after that (I think) they have rounds where everyone competes and there are some 'safe' people and the bottom 2, 3, 4 however many do another elimination and so on.
And then, like Holly from The Block, the princess will spend her time trying to crack tv by popping up on morning tv weather slots

I felt sorry for the army guys but seriously, what was with every blardy comment or conversation having army undertones and references!!!! I hate when producers make the say crap like that - it really puts me off. Just because they're in the army, doesn't mean they reference every single event in their life back to an army situation :-/

I love watching the Princess just because I can't believe someone like that exists. Vic crp me off big time. They make me embarrassed to be a Melburnian.

Haha that annoyed me to! Do they really talk like that? It was so over the top, "we'll be in the hurt locker".

I couldn't get over the "surf and turf don't work" .. Hell YES they do!!! You don't find it much in Vic (other than pubs) , but when I do, I get it 99% of the time

Th boys looked genuinely surprised when told that the fruit and seafood don't go, but like a PP said, the judges should know what is 'normal' in the parts of the country they are travelling in!

I can't wait for Vic to fail!!! And the will fail because they are giant a-holes!

I'm from QLD and it's very commonplace to mix seafood with fruit here. One of the best dishes I have ever eaten was bug with mango - you can find dishes like this in A LOT of top restaurants. Crab, prawn or bug with a fruit salsa is delicious, particularly with chilli.

I think those comments actually made the judges look a bit ignorant!

The ADF peeps I know are quite, erm, 'regimental', but they don't say things like that. It was really obviously scripted, there was a military reference for everything!

I'm so cross I'm going out for my birthday dinner tonight, but I'd rather be at home watching MKR! I don't want to miss the Vic's fail.

I have to agree Witwicky it is very common place in Qld, especially far north Qld to have tropical fruit served with seafood. I remember at one stage nearly every Cafe restaurant in Racecourse Road at Ascot went through a fruit and salsa/seafood stage, as did Bretts Wharf restaurant and they're not restaurants to be sneezed at. It really did show them to be a bit ignorant last night, especially ignorant in the difference of states in terms of what is deemed culinary norms etc.

I had to have a giggle at the military references, it was obvious that everyone they were saying was said tongue in cheek, as I am yet to meet ADF people who pepper their conversations with that much military speak!

I really hope the Victorian team feel the heat tonight, what a pair of upstarts! I remember last year's Victorian teams being equally as rude and it bit them on the bottom too!

I dont mind the army guys doing and saying everything 'army style'. Its a massive part of their lives and they live it and love it. Good on them. Could easily hang out with them. They and the Greek bro+sis team are still my favs, by far. Genuine people who seem to be in the game to enjoy the experience...obviously they all want to win, but these two couples seem to want to compete fairly and with good sportsmanship.
