    Default Date Scan

    Hi everyone,

I had my date scan today after finding out I was pregnant only a week and a half ago. I estimated myself around the 5-6 week mark and was pretty spot on. Based on the size of the gestational sac, it dates me about 5 weeks, 4 days. Too tiny to see anything other than the outline of the sac and a tiny spec that was the baby and too early for a heartbeat so that's unfortunate. Just really want to get to that 'safe' stage quickly. The next 6 weeks are going to drag so bad!

Did anyone else have a date scan this early on?

I thought I was 7wks when I booked in for my dating scan - but blobby measured at 5wks 6days.

We did get to see a heartbeat though so we were lucky

Wow, that's lucky to have seen the heart beat so early.
