Default What is your greatest fear?

I keep thinking about this and the older my DD gets the more fears I get and she is only two - am I the only one?
I fear I will not be a good parent
I fear that she will not be happy
I fear that I will be too protective and not let her have the experiences I dis incase she is hurt
    The list is endless....

No you are not alone... My DD is almost 11 and my son 8
i also fear i am not a great parent.
am i going to do exactly what my parents did and not let them socialise with the fear they will get hurt.
will i be able to provide them with what they need and want
i think all parents fear things for their kids...

    Something happening to DS.

Dying is a huge fear of mine, me or family/friends, I find it very hard to even talk about.

well this is just the thread I needed to see at 4am whilst freaking out about life (as one does at 4am!)...
For me, it's having nothing to live for, nothing to look forward to or be excited about, having no one to love or who loves me. My greatest fear is knowing that my own existence is meaningless. *shudder*

But at least I'm not scared of frogs ...I'm scared of lizards!

Having to redefine my life plan to not include children.

I honestly, hand-on-heart, do not think that is a life I am willing to live.
