Actually no. That's Facebook! If you click on the persons name it takes you to their news feed and there's a "send message" button or you can "write something" at the bottom and it's public on their status

Yeah, but it doesn't mean you aren't using it though. Mine's on my ipod and I don't always have my internet on.

When I first got mfp I realised my calories were only about 890 to 1000 or so on average. I had no idea. I keyed in the details for the previous few days and it gave me a message that I wasn't eating enough and my body would be in starvation mode. I'm fixing that now though. It just shocked me.

Hi All... I have only just started using my fitness pal and would love some friends to share meal with, ideas that work and just the general journey. My name on MFP is xxxHolliexxx ... With the whole exercise thing do you eat back those calories so if my calories are meant to be 1300 a day and then I exercise off 600 calories - do I need to eat 1900 cal?

Hart, it depends on whether you want to lose weight or maintain your current weight and get fit.

    I'm on there too.

A while back I asked them if I could download my data to analyse myself, but they never got back to me. So, I wrote MyFitnessData, a really simple tool to download weight data from the site:

Does anyone else constantly go over their rdi for vit c. I'm always over by like 200% but I haven't eaten that much fruit just 2 servings of grapes and a peach?
