We've just decided on the name for our little girl who's due in June, Ciena Rose. We like the name Sienna, but wanted to change it up a bit, and found this different spelling in one of our baby name books and really like it

    Elise (my current fave)
    Hannah
    Tessa
    Imogen
    Holly
    Alicia

For the person who said Asher, that is the boys' spelling. Asha is the girls' name.

That may be your opinion but it can be spelt whichever way the parent chooses.

I am Asha, however I know of a baby girl Asher.

Well yes, of course it can be spelled however the parents choose. That is true of any name.

I was actually just trying to be helpful, in case they did not realise.

Um, OK... just thought you might want to know what you're actually calling your daughter... Merde is a really nice French name too in case you're looking for an option.

Lol i wasnt having a go... I was more laughing at myself for getting it wrong? Esp as it was so obvious once i was corrected lol. I couldnt remember exactly what it meant off the top of my head, but knew it was something along those lines?? If someone actually wanted to use it im sure they would look it up for themselves. Sheesh. Why are people on the internets sooo touchy lately.
