Hi to all the lovely ladies here....

If its ok Im going to jump on this thread...... AF arrived yesterday but I won't be stimming til the next AF arrives in mid march... In Bali at the moment just relaxing. This is my first post this year. My last FET failed on Xmas eve and all hell broke loose with family dramas. Lets just say "I thought I already was on a roller coaster but obviously not big enough" We move back into our house when we get back from Bali next week and am hoping that having our own space again will make my 7th IVF a little easier to deal with.

Currently I am on DHEA. Last time I went on it I got 11 eggs. I normally only get about 2 or 3.... So am doing that again. Also doing a new drug study.. It normally costs $50k but since its new into Australia they have to do a trial. Im hoping Im not the group that gets the placebo.

OMG where are my manners. Hi to all the ladies on here. I recognise a few of you and to those who are new. I have everything crossed for you that your journey is not toooo long.

Anyhow its very hot here so am going back in the pool. I will catch up with all of you when I get back to Sydney.

This is our year ladies. Our bloody year!!!!

    cheers Kylee

Welcome bubsforkylee!! to it being the year for all of us.

So what is DHEA and what does it do?

    hubba
    - that is really bad. Which IVFA clinic is that? I do think you should go back to them for the BT - it is part of the cycle. Once you've had that, never go back. Really hope it's a BFP!!
The only problem we've had so far are with some of the admin/reception type people. But we also had issues with receptionists giving wrong information/causing big delays for us before (at Genea, but not Dr Livingstone - his receptionist is the nicest one I've ever come across). But anyway, hopefully all the stuff-ups are behind us now & looking forward to everything going smoothly.

I start my cycle as soon as AF arrives next time, in March. It will be an antogonist cycle, so no need for any down reg beforehand. It's all dependent on having the backup donor sperm though, just in case there isn't any to be found in DH.

Its the clinic at Gosford on the Central coast.

Well March is really not far away thats exciting to get started. I think because you know sort of what you are already talking about you will be fine. I was not pushy enough and i didnt do my homework before this started but to be honest i didnt think i had to, i believed i was with professionals to guide me through it.

I suppose i will go back for blood test cause then at least i dont have to explain it to my doctor and the results will come back within a couple of hours.

Im gonna poas a stick before i go so at least if its a BFN, im prepared, i might even do it day before so if it is a BFN, i have dealt with it a little to be able to leave house lol.

DHEA from what ive read is a drug that helps woman produce more eggs for collection and better quality, some doctors are for and some against but i def wanna give it a go next time if i dont get my BFP.

    Goodluck keep me posted
