I think all the girls that are in the yet to do transfers or in the TWW are sure to be getting BFPs. We have certainly used up our quota of BFN's and cancelled cycles, its time for some good news! to you all.

Thanks Elly, def do the BT. I am going to. At least they will be able to tell you what your hormones are doing. Hope you are doing ok tonight. Are you going to do a FET straight away? My FN said i couldn't do it this cycle, needed to wait till next AF? I was hoping they would change their mind…

Sunshine hope you are doing ok. We are contemplating a little OS trip as well, but were going to try and work it around the IVF as we don't know how long we'll be doing it for. Its so hard to plan that stuff isn't it. At the same time though, you need some nice things to look forward to. Hope you get lucky 2nd time around.

Peonies, yay for AF! glad it finally arrived and you can get started. Yay for your health insurance too! SO rare to actually get some value like that out of it. Thats great.

Thembs, i am SO sorry My first cycle was cancelled and its an awful feeling. You might be able to start again pretty quickly though with a different dose? Hope you are doing ok.

Samara's mum, thanks for updating. Hope you have a little sticky one in there!

Mummyofaddi, its awful when you feel like that on the stims. Hope you can hang out till monday and they can get some good swimmers. Its so hard when they go away to time it all. Hopefully a few of the other follies come up for you, but not many and the EPU goes well for you.

Noms, a line is still a line no matter how faint, I still think you're in with a fighting chance. When is your BT? Have you run your FN? If you are getting a line, maybe they can do your BT sooner?

MARTCC, you poor thing sounds like you've had a rough few days! I think sometimes the eggs just don't fertilise, but two frosties is def nothing to sneeze at Really hope you are feeling better. The Crinone is nasty, nasty stuff i reckon. I've had several blinding migraines on it, it doesn't make you feel good.

AFM - Thanks all of you for all the lovely words. i hated having to tell my DP that AF has arrived He's so sweet about it, but i know he's crushed. It's so hard knowing he is so far away and we can't give each other a hug. He'll be home in a week though. I've had my big cry this morning, went into work with red eyes looking like crap. I felt so awful this morning but I'm trying to be positive and not let it get me down. I went and bought the mimco handbag i've had my eye on to try and cheer myself up. Our FN said if its def a BFN, then i need to wait till the next AF before we do the FET. I thought you could start again straight away? I'm hoping they change their mind. BT tom, and even though i already now its a bfn.

Thanks to all the girls on this thread. It's great having such support. I wish you all the best. We've decided to start again after two months even though the nurse at the clinic thought we should start straight away, because of my age. But I think I should work on getting my body as healthy as possible instead of trying and having another cycle cancelled. At least if the next one doesn't work we'd have given it the best chance. At the moment we feel we should work on normalising the hormones naturally then try again. There's also other issues we'd like to discuss with our FS.
Keep pushing girls until something happens. Good Luck!!! Everyone

Hi everyone had my scan today and only 4 follicles! I am bitterly disappointed! They are not big enough yet so will have to wait until next Tuesday to see when epu will be! Feeling very flat and deflated

Just quickly wanted to reply to this also - I had 12 follicles & got 20 eggs!!! Only 3 ended up being viable though... I can't really complain either there are other girls that don't get any that make it to freeze or transfer... :-/
Good luck... As people have said to me it's more quality over quantity, so it may not be bad news...

emmylou - I've heard so many stories of people not thinking they had many to start with, but then several more growing as the days went on. or even there being there than expected when they went to do EPU. The scan can't see everything.

MARTTC & thems - you poor sausages. I really feel for you. Take care of yourselves.

AFM: some good news! I had my first BT this morning and I was so worried they'd say I couldn't start yet, because AF was really quite light yesterday. However, the nurse rang and said Dr wants me to start the Puregon tonight, and I have another BT and a scan on Monday morning! Surprised they're doing a scan so soon, but I think he is really worried about OHSS and it is my first cycle, so he obviously wants to monitor me. Also, we need to get an idea of when EPU will be ASAP so DH can plan his time off work for the micro dissection. Woo hoo - we're finally off on this journey!!

    Hi Girls,

I need some advice. I went for my BT this morning, it was a day early because I started spotting yesterday. I’m sure i’ve got AF today, because it’s gotten heavier and have some cramps, but when they rang with my results they said they couldn’t tell me yet because i have a level of 32 of pregnancy hormone? I know this nurse is new and still training so she didn’t really explain it very clearly. My FS was in surgery so she’s going to call me back. I’m still counting it as a BFN as i am bleeding, but does that mean it tried to implant and didn’t make it? Im sure its a BFN, but wondered if that was a chemical pregnancy or something. Very confused...

Emmylou, don't loose hope yet. They told me i had 7 or 8 good follies, and i got 13 eggs (12 mature) which resulted in 1 transfer and 5 frosties. You just never know! Even if you did only get 4 eggs, you only need one golden one

Update - had EPU today and got 8 eggs so happy with this. DH did a drop and not sure of his sperm quality this time so will know tomorrow with our fertilisation results.

No issues with EPU today, no pain relief needed, only had a little bit of nausea from the gas they give you to keep asleep I think.

for tomorrow. Best of luck everyone and look after yourselves.

I just wanted to tell you my nurse said to me the other day not to poas coz they detect low hormone levels & in a BT they want numbers 100 >
All clinics could be different but that's what she said to me... Just thought I'd share
