    Default Howdy

    Hi Everyone

Hope - WOW! on the great nos. I hope that all goes well and that OHSS is NOT an issue for you!

GStef - good luck with the scan tomorrow!

Hubba - Sorry to hear about your BFN - good to see you back on the horse again right away!

Ellystar - good luck with your 1st go - fingers crossed for you!

Clementine - I hope everything goes well for this cycle - good luck!

Capri & Jeb - Good luck for your 2nd cycle! I wouldn't be too worried about the possibilities of twins. I think of it as having most of my family in one go!

Jessesgirl - I have had a similar reaction with cetrotide (the other antagonist commonly used) - although it wasn't consistently. I found that if I went a little slower with the injections that there was enough time for the liquid to dissipate below my fat layer - the irritation seemed to only occur when the injection was shallow. Giving the site a good rub afterwards helps too. Good luck with it

Dancingbutterfly - I hope your news sharing went ok.

Hi to anyone I have missed.

AFM - I had a major freak out yesterday morning when I woke up and found that our fridge (which housed all my cycle drugs that are due to start Tuesday) had gone kaput! The temp inside the fridge was room temperature. I rang the clinic number to leave a message (as I know they do transfers on the weekends) and thankfully got the embryologist who took a message for the FN to ring me back today!
Long story short - crisis was averted but an 1½hr drive there and 1½hr drive back again to collect the drugs (for the 2nd time inside a week) and the purchase of a new fridge!!
BTW - Is there anyone else out there that is doing an estrogen priming cycle?

    Hi ladies,

Just got back from my 2nd scan and have 18 follies over 17mm with another 4 smaller ones. All booked in for EPU on Wednesday morning but once again got the "you might not get a transfer this month" chat because of the worry of OHSS. I have everything crossed that we can avoid it and will get a transfer saturday or Monday. Still really happy that I atleast responded well as they didn't think I'd make it to 10follies so trying to focus on that.
Ill try and get on later for a bigger post, hope all that have had fs appointments or scans today went well x

Snazzymoo- I would have been freaking out as well. Good thing u were able to get more supplies!

Gstef good luck for ur scan wed, do u mind me asking what egalitarian is? I've never heard of it and my fs has never mentioned that before.

    Hope2487 good luck for wed!

Mummyofadi looks like we r cycling at the same time

Afm still just waiting but wondering if I can call on everyones experiances with a few things I'm wondering. Firstly do most ppl get a labroscopy to find more out? My fs has done all tests but this but from wot Ive read I'm wondering if this should also b done? Also what's everyone's thoughts on coffee? My fs says 2x a day is ok but I cut it all out prior and during first cycle. Since my bfn tho I have been having 1a day and feeling pretty guilty for it! And finally from our last ivf we didn't get any blastocysts. I had 8eggs taken, 7fertilized but they started fragmenting slightly from the start. At day 5 we had 1 morula to transfer and nothing else left. I'm so worried this will happen again. Fs said it could b bcos my dose wasn't high enough to start with so wot should have been a transfer on day14 was instead on day 19. Just wondering has anyone else had or heard of this and wot was done 2nd time round?

    Thanks ladies

Shazzymoo I would have freaked out too. How did you go with the new Fridge I hope you got it sorted out? I haven’t done an oestrogen priming cycle but I am doing an FET HRT ( oestrogen and progesterone) 3 times a day.

Gstef Are you taking orgalutran? that you get lots of mature eggs for your EPU.

Hope2487 that you don’t get OHSS and you get to transfer.

Mummyofaddi I hope AF turns up soon.

Capri_12 Sorry can’t help you with your questions. All my investigations where done in 2004.

    A Big to everyone else.

AFM My FS appointment went well and he was tossing up to go for next AF or go with the AF after that. I think I convinced him to go with my next cycle which is due any time now. We are doing an FET HRT which will be just pill popping 3 times a day with Progesterone pessaries 3 times a day 5 days prior to Transfer.
