    Default Eeek the dreaded G word!!

    Gastro!!

    We spent the morning with my nieces and this arvo one of them hascomee down with gastro. Please tell me your kids have been around kids with gastro and not caught it..... Freaking out, do not want the 3 kiddies to catch it especially my 6 month old

    I'd imagine they would be okay if they weren't doing things such as sharing cups or cutlery.

    Dh and I had gastro together and dd was absolutely fine! I'm still bf too so I was sure she would get it from me!

    My DD shared a cup with her and she was all over my baby so not good

    Thanks, mine are crossed to. How long does it normally take to show symptoms if it has been passed on?

    Some kids seem immune to it. I have had it quite a few times, and I don't think my 3yo has had proper gastro.

    But we always pass colds between each other.

    Gastro seems to work in mysterious ways.
