Default Tandem or side by side double pram

Which do prefer a tandem pram or a side by side pram?

I have 4 kids and need a new double pram for my baby and toddler. I have a side by side but it's driving me crazy trying to squeeze through doorways and shopping checkouts and even steering it around.

    How are the tandem prams?

I love my Phil & Teds, it's narrow, easy to drive and folds away very small for a double.

I like side by sides better, I've had a few inline prams and they always lack storage!

    Took the red pill.

I had a side by side- a latitude for two (and now can't for the life of me figure out the manufacturer- I'm sure I'll remember at 3am.)

We just took it to st Vinnies today as we no longer use it and we seriously couldn't give it away, despite being in excellent condition.

It was great- it fit through a standard doorway easily (I made sure of that before I bought it) and folded down quite nicely.

Friends of ours with twins spent over $3000 on a pram that doesn't do either of the above- I don't get it- it's CRAZY when we only spent $550 and it was a perfect pram for over 2 years. *shrug*

Love my Phil an teds. Easy to use, just like a single pram to get through shops and I take it walking every day too - in te bush and over rocky ground with a one year old and a two year old with no problems!!
