    Default Confusing bloods and scan?

Had a scan today and could only just see a small sac with internal scan. Nothing could be seen inside it yet, and sac measured 4w 1d but my LMP puts me at 5w2d?

Ok so help me here ladies these are my numbers etc.
17th Jan BFP & Beta of 3. (going by scan today this put me at only 2w 5d)
19th Jan beta was 26. (going by scan 3w)
    23rd Jan beta 195 (going by scan 3w 4 d)

Had another beta today will update this afternoon. Scan today put me at 4w 1d.
    LMP 21st December.

So initially the dr said my numbers were too low (prior to the scan today) but after googling it seems my numbers are actually high???

Does it matter that there is a week and day difference between my LMP and the sac size?

I had something kind of the same with this pregnancy.

I went for a scan when I thought I was 7 weeks, and was told I was only 4-4.5 weeks. I was sure this was not right, so thought that I was going to have another miscarrage.
I had bloods done the next day, and they dated me at approx 7 week mark, so I was even more confused!

I had bloods done a few more times over the next 2 weeks and they continued to go up.
I had a scan done 2 weeks after the original scan, and this one dted me within days of where I thought I should have been.

So long story short there is hope!

    Good luck!

The technician that did our dating scan said that the one they usually use for an accurate date is around the 7-8 week mark. Having said that however, keep in mind that all bubs grow differently and at their own pace. Yours may just be taking its time.

It can depend on the sensitivity of the machine too! Where did you have the scan done? I had one done through A&E at the RHH that showed my dates to be correct and another scan done 1w2d later at the Private next door through Regional Imaging and they said I was still only 7w2d which I was the week before.

Could you of ovulated later than you originally thought? That would also explain why your hcg levels were so low when you had them tested

Yes that would make sense and yes I did ovulate late but going by the scan today it would mean conception occured January 12 and I got a positive only 5 days after that, implantation would not have even happened then let alone being able to get a + HPT and BT?!
