Default Why cant people just like your pictures & not give annoying comments!!??

This is kind of a mini vent...

So I started DD on solids 3days ago..tried rice cereal..she didnt like it so tried banana which she loved! Took pictures and put them on facebook as I wanted to share this special milestones.. Well, afew people liked them, said a coule of nice comments..and than all family and afew friends started saying 'dont keep giving her fruit 1st..give her bland stuff otherwise she'll develop a sweet tooth and you'll have a hard time giving her veges..' I said I know that but this was the 1st time shes starting solids and I only had a banana at home to try so thats why i gave it..ofcourse i'll be giving her veges as well..
Than over next 3days whoever I met, especially relatives, kept baggering me about this point !! Again I repeated what I've written abve..but does that stop them..NOOO... OMG.. i felt like riping my hair out!!! And now the pics are full of these stupid comments and which have ruined DDs special moment of starting solids

Banana is an awesome first food. Better than rice cereal. congratulations on your little one starting solids! How exciting.

What are you going to give her next?

And ignore stupid family members. Just keep doing what your doing shutting them down. Try not to let it ruin your special moment. On FB maybe delete the photo - as the comments will be deleted also & repost it? Unless then everyone would comment again & upset you again? Good luck!

Banana was DD's first food too - she loved it also.. She eats practically everything she's given veggies wise (hates tomato and has done for a while)

My son slept in my bed up until.2.5 and i was told from day 1 ill never get him out.. And i did and it was easy.. I was also told i would never get him off the bottle.. And i did and it was also easy!! He also didnt eat until he was 9months old.. And then he only would eat banana.. Well today hes nearly 3 and has a wonderful diet.. Do what works for u!!

I'd delete their comments it's your picture you can delete comments
If it keeps happening upload pictures for selected people who aren't negative

My dd started with fruit she hated rice cereal. We had veggies too. Have favourite foods to eat now are fruit and veggies (though like most kids at 2.5 loves lollies, chocolate and chips ) I'd rather her eat a bunch of bananas than chocolate though!

That's what I did she tried each new food individually and when I gave her a mixture of foods they would all still be individual on the plate. My theory is I don't mix all my food up on the plate and eat it all together in each bite

We eventually went into blw. The blends were never really smooth to begin with she liked lumper food.

leave the photo but delete their comments and then there's a little icon you can click on for each photo (if it's a mobile upload photo) or for the entire album and change the custom privacy settings so that the annoying peope can't see it

Gosh, banana is a way better first food than rice cereal!!!

What they said actually doesn't make sense, because breast milk is sweet - so veggies before fruit is a non issue.

It's also ironic, because there is information to suggest that feeding a baby rice cereal can give them a lifelong taste for sweets haha.

Sorry to hear about that, it's so frustrating. I would just delete the comments
