Default My baby's food and drinks intake reduced in the last 2 days.

My 8 month old has reduced his milk intake to twice a day now. He skipped dinner today and won't eat anything I offered him. He refused water in any shapes or forms and I couldn't force anything down him, he would scream and put on a fight. He has been sleeping since 7 pm and doesn't look sick of anything. I think he has lost some weight too.. What is wrong with him??

My DS 12 months in feb. A few months back he went completely off his bottles wouldnt even look at them. This went on for a few days. Then he wouldnt have dinner!!! A week later his 2 top teeth came through. So Im assuming it was all related. If it continues though I would take them to the docs.

Only 2 milk drinks & no water or food sounds like nowhere near enough intake to me. If you think he's lost weight as well then I think a trip to see a doctor is in order. See how he is this morning and have a low threshold for going today to emergency. Babies can get dehydrated very quickly and then can get very sick.

As long as he is still having wet Nappies and no fever he might just be having an off day! Give it another day or two, don't try force food just keep offering water and food and bottles, babies usually don't refuse yogurt have you tried giving him some?
