I wear both - had the wedding ring designed to fit around and match the engagement ring.

I wear my wedding ring engagement ring and eternity ring usually whenever I leave the house. I feel naked out without them. At home I don't always wear them, sometimes just wedding band. I've always taken them off to sleep so they're part of my getting ready to leave the house routine.

I wear both everyday but take them off at night, when sleeping as I either scratch myself or DH because it's a high setting! I love them both <3

When are eternity rings received? I heard 10 years but some of my friends have them and haven't been married for even close to 10 years, has it changed?

And those who wear wedding, engagement AND eternity on the same finger does it get bulky/uncomfortable?

If I ever get married I'll wear both as I figure the engagement ring will cost too much for it to be collecting dust but I don't like too much jewellery so wouldn't want an eternity.

I wear both my wedding ring & engagement ring. They match. Same type of gold, same band width. I didn't get the band notched so it fitted snugly to the engagement ring and I don't regret that choice. To be honest I hadn't considered just wearing my wedding ring on its own. I rarely take my rings off, but I take them off to mix mince meat for hamburgers/meat loaf, or mix biscuit dough by hand. Otherwise they had to come off right at the end of my pregnancies and that's it.

Eternity rings are given whenever. Didn't know there was a rule as such. Some women get them when they have a baby. I just had my 2nd bub and 6 weeks later had our 10th wedding anniversary and no eternity ring here - couldn't remotely afford it!

Not rules sorry, more tradition I guess. Just as an engagement ring isn't a 'rule', it's just a tradition of a man's intent to marry a woman But that makes sense, thanks.
