We won't get CCB or family tax benefit A or B and the CCR is great but we will still be left short due to the cap so won't get a full 50% rebate. It is frustrating when you work so hard and pay high tax and don't get much in return when you need it. And a 40% pay cut for a year until I go back to work means we do need it. I know we are much better off than lots of others and I'm glad we live in a country where our taxes help others but it would be nice to get a little help, just for a little while. I'd even just be grateful if the CCR limit was raised a bit! Oh well what can you do

Kw we are the same, but pay child support also so it leaves us extremely short a week. I see other families working and getting money from Centerlink including salaries and child support earn more than us. Sometimes it's not fair. The average salary in oz now is above $50k a year so the average workers suffer as well if you are both working.
