Thanks shes doing well. Scu rang me not long ago they fed her at 7:30 so they are going to check her blood sugar and then let me know if they will be bringing her over for a feed or not I doubt she will be there much longer she was only sent there because she is under 2.5 and her blood sugar was low but its staying nice and consistant now

Congratulations on your 2 girls Jess. Lovely that you were happy with how your birth went and that both girls are doing well. Have they worked out whether the placenta was one or 2 that had fused? Do they look similar?

Hopefully it doesn't take long with today being a public holiday. How are you doing today? And the girls?

Had my specialist scan on tues, it went for 3 hours!!! Because I didn't have my first scan until 12 weeks they wanted to check what sort of twins they were. Didn't help that the first US report didn't specify so that wasn't helpful. So 3 professionals later they're positive it's MoDi twins. But #2 (named squashy) is measuring two weeks behind while squishy #1 is normal size.

We are all hoping squashy catches up in the next US in 2 weeks time. At the moment it looks like selective intrauterine growth restriction keeping positive that it doesn't progress anymore.

Just frustrating that it's just all wait and see now. But I won't worry until there's something to worry about

Oh and I forgot! They are boys!!! No girl for me but hey on the plus side we have lots of boy clothes and toys lol so we're evening out the sexes in here

Sh3ll13 : I am hoping not but I think it will take a while anyway since it would be genetic testing. Doing well feeling good! Hayley came back to us last night from scu, soo happy! They are finally sharing a double cot Lauren was super hungry last night. So far we have been working off feeding four houly but at one point she woke an hour early and was hungry so I gave her 10 mls of formula and then an hour later she had 45mls! Crazy. Both are improving with their breast feeding. One of my breasts is very sore from a cracked nipple so only expressing that one but will try to use it again today hopefully

wow a 3 hour scan! Were you laying on your back the whole time?? Your twins are the same as mine have they said anything about fortnightly/weekly scans? Try not to worry about the size diffence until you know its an issue, one may have just had a growth spurt thats all. Wow some more boys!

Twinniemumma : how are your boys doing? What type of twins were they? I cant remember if you have said or not lol

So great to hear Jess! Good work with the breast feeding!

How are all our preg mummas doing?

The boys are well and truly on the mend. Quinn is a bit more spotty than Zavier but they're getting there! they don't scar. The boys are DiDi but we're not sure if they're identical or fraternal. They are VERY similar looking and everyone tells me they have to be identical

I think it's so cute when they share a cot. Good news on the breast feeding, it's harder than it looks!

Twinniemumma glas your boys are on the mend. DS's friends all had hand foot and mouth and one of them just suddenly appeared with spots everywhere in the hour they were here (probably last year now). I couldn't believe how quickly it comes about. Do you know how they caught them so early on? How old are they? Sorry I haven't really caught up before joining in

I will be having fortnightly scans so far. Just had dinner at the in laws and MIL likes to talk so she's picked up information from customers lol apparently protein shakes are supposed to be good for the smaller one. I remember reading that somewhere. I might have to do some more research before getting some.

I've had this sharp pain in my tummy. Wasn't sure what it was at first, just painful when I moved. I put it down to the bubs resting on some part of me in there because the pain moved places and eventually disappeared. Does anyone else have this or experienced it?
