    Vic35- thank you so much

I'm doing really well, surprisingly. I had a second round of steroids last week, as the first lot were no longer effective. Not one doctor can believe that I have not had this baby yet! I've seen quite a few doctors too (due to the growth restriction).
My last growth scan showed bub to have "gained" a lot of weight, putting it back up to the 11th centile! Yay!! Doc said this can happen, but is rare.
Today I'm 34+6 and the plan is to "hopefully" deliver between 2nd-9th August (36th week). My doc did say las week, he may try to push me further, but I'm extremely uncomfortable with this as I know the risks of stillbirth increase dramatically in cases like mine after 36 weeks. I'll be standing my ground and demanding my Ob to deliver in that 36th week. He said he would give me a date on Monday next week (if I have not had bub by then).
I currently have 3 ctg's a week and 1 ultrasound a week. Although bub is still small, blood flow through cord has been quite good. Bubs legs are still apparently "little" but they are still growing, just slower than the average bub. Bubs approx weight now is 2.1kg!!! That's a milestone in itself

I'll definitely be back here to give an update before the birth and after the birth... So stay tuned

Hi all, I haven't been on in the last week. I'd like to introduce you to our newest member of our family, "Jesse Aaron Geoffrey" who was born on Monday 6/8/12 weighing 5lb 2oz (2360 grams) at 36+4 weeks.
We are both well but Jesse is a little jaundiced. We are waiting on belliruben blood test result to see if he needs the lights. he sleeps fairly well and is adorable.
Who thought we'd get here?? Well two definite people did, make that 3, God, Jesse and I!!! Against all odds Jesse is here, he is well and he is just amazing. Could a mother fall anymore in love??? I don't think so!
