Default Small Gestational Sac..? Anyone had this?

    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if any of you have had a small gestational sac and had a successful pregnancy? My GS is 16 days behind in growth (measuring 5w5d and baby measuring 7w6d) and the lady doing the scan didnt offer to much info on it. My Dr seemed concerned and said i needed another scanin 1 week. That day has come (today) and I'm worried sick.

The research i have done says that this happens to 1.8% of ppl (yay unlucky me) and only 4-20% are successful...i dont know if what i have found on the net to be true of just peoples assumptions.

I have had no pregnancy symptoms other than sore boobs and occasionaly tiredness.

Thanks to those that might be able to offer some advice/stories etc.

The sac was still really small. Doc isn't feeling too positive about this pregnancy now. He said he'll wait to see what happens though, and he said miracles happen.... So just have to have scans every Monday for now...

The last 2 scans over the last two weeks have shown both baby and sac have grown. Today baby is 10w4d and sac is 8w0d. They can't find the yolk sac now and their worried about that too.... This is a nightmare!

I'm sorry that you are going through this, it is all very worring at times. I'm sure some bubs like to test us right out before they arrive. Wishing you both all the best

Thanks ladies, I'm going to keep this post updated In case anyone else ever goes through something similar, so they have something to go by. I find it frustrating that I can't find much info on this.

Thanks for the hugs and well wishes. I do appreciate them x

Please do update as I have been told by my doc that my gestational sac is a little small but not quite so drastic as your situation. Just adding it to my list of pregnancy issues hope you get some good updates soon.
