I love ALL of you. except the Greg haters. Puh-leeze. You cannot dismiss The Original Yellow.
You want to get down in the Wiggles ghetto?
    The Wiggletown 'hood?
You want to roll in the Big Red Car?

Then you gotta holla out for our king Greg.

Sam's whining like the snot nosed little brat he is. "Wahhh the Wiggles made me a millionare, and now my substitute period is over, wahhhhh"

He's only sooking because he won't be able to make it as anything else, apart from one of those one-season $1,000-budget kid's shows where he has to interact with a stuffed monkey and sing bedtime song to cardboard stars.
Maybe a second rate part on NCIS or Neighbours, and then fade.
He'll be that weird old Uncle who was in a band back in the 70's and nobody can remember him.

Greg retired with the sounds of a thousand children sobbing.
Sam retired with the sounds of himself sobbing.

Sam will still be getting royalties of about 60k a year, not bad when he didn't write any songs, joined a already mega successful band, was happy to sign on as a contracted employee.
Greg and the other wiggles worked hard to establish the wiggles from nothing.
Whilst I like Sam, I prefer Greg's voice and his song writing skills.

Sam isn't worthy of a spin off

    Totally agree
It would of been nice at the start when Sam became permanent rather just Greg's fill in to make him a green wiggle or something (hey even pink!) than when Greg returned they could of been 5 of them
I felt there was always tension with Murray, Anthony and Jeff with Sam as Sam is a classical trained singer and made them change their recording style to more a "professional" way. Sam already does his own solo stuff in classical singing so I no doubt he kinda was ok with going...
I doubt Sam had aspirations of becoming a wiggle more that he fell in to being Greg's stand in than was very lucky to become a wiggle.
