I'm only on CD3 today, so I'm early on but I saw an acupuncturist yesterday who specialises in fertility, so I'm crossing fingers that everything comes together this month!

I am currently CD11 and have started SMEP already. Testing day should be the 17th Feb. We have gotten lucky twice using this plan before so hopefully it happens again

Hi Ladies,

I'm currently CD11 and have done a few OPK's in the last couple of days and they have all been neg - but not even showing the faintest hint of a second line... Is this normal? I've never used them before. I have no idea when I O but have been getting niggly O pain for the last couple of days... CM has increased today so hopefully I get a pos soon...

I'm just stressing that the batch is either faulty or i'm not doing it right... I'm testing in the evening when I get home from work...

Am continuing to DTD every second night, I know its early days, but as I said have been getting O symptoms and no pos stick! Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

This has been me! I'm now on CD14 and FINALLY got a faint line on an OPK (been testing for five days!). Not a positive yet but I'm going to test again tonight so I don't miss the surge. I generally have a 30 day cycle so I'm guessing I'm going to O on CD16 or so. Just glad to have gotten a hint of a line (got one very, very faint one yesterday but then nothing at all last night so I'm not sure what that was about) as I was the same as you - questioning whether I was doing it right, whether the OPK was faulty (though I tried two different brands!) or whether or not I was just imagining O symptoms!

I've had CM for the last six or seven days, though it only turned into EWCM yesterday or the day before. Have had niggling cramps and a sore lower back for almost a week too - who knew you could have so many symptoms before O! Last month we 'sort of' tried but I'm thinking now I missed my O as would have DTD around now and then taken a break thinking that was it! Last night my boobs became tender and even more so today.

Just keep testing like you are and DTD every second night I guess. As you have some CM you may have some little swimmers waiting around anyway! How long are your cycles generally? I have only been TTC a month or so, but looking back at my phone app I use to track my cycle I tend to ovulate around CD16 (give or take) with a luteal phase of fourteen or so days.

Hi Carleena,

If I O according to plan (LOL) on CD16 or CD17, I'm going to test on the 14th (Valentines Day!). I may cave and test on the 11th only because I have a big farewell party that night, but I'm hoping to hold out!

This is me too! Well kinda- I have been using OPKs when I get home in the arvo for the last 2 days and before the weekend 3 days, all super light negatives. My temps are still low so whilst I was expecting (hoping) to O around today it hasn't happened by the look of things! I usually O a couple of days after the first appearance of EWCM so skimflatwhite if I were you I would be DTD every day now till a day or two after a pod OPK, but maybe that's just me! I keep feeling like I have EWCM but nothing, just watery, but I think I usually get this before the good stuff hehe. Ohhhh I just want it to HURRRRRRRY UPPPPPP!! We have been DTD every second day since cd 8, I think it is 16 now, but it feels like I'm not O'ing till like CD45 arghhhhh who ever said there was only one TWW!!

Thanks CottonCandy & Skimflatwhite!! I don't feel so silly now! My cycles are usually around 26 days but last one was around 24 - seem to be getting shorter so thats why i'm stressing that it hasn't happened yet. Will keep doing what i'm doing and hope to get some results soon.

I am amazed at how many O symptoms i've started to notice in the last few cycles! Us poor women, it never ends, not only do we cop crap when AF is in town but now we have pain and symptoms when O!! Bleh! Last cycle I had terrible o pain that i had confused with appendix, silly me didn't even know O pain exsisted!

COME ON O!!! I just want to be UTD already! LOL - TWW is going to do my head in!

Ohh Cotton Candy I was thinking the exact same thing re. DTD! Were on an 'off' day in line with SMEP so I'm not sure whether or not to just jump the gun and start the three-days-in-a-row tonight or wait until tomorrow. I haven't had that real positive on the OPK yet so I think it's probably sensible to wait for that but I'm getting anxious, and I have lots of EWCM!

Im going to do another OPK after dinner and see if it's any darker. Tell me about it, this week is draaaaagging and I'm not even contemplating what the next two will be like!!
