jbish - eww gastro is the worst in our little ones isnt it? ds had it a few months back and it was horrendous. did you and dp manage to stay clear? glad that you are feeling ok. its a big decision to ttc and i hope that people bloody mind their own business and stop asking if you are!

cotton - cant believe your over 15 wks! how are you feeling these days?

afm im 11 + 2 today and have the mother of all head colds right now i feel like i am dying!! its only a week til my next scan (NT screen) so ill be sure to share a pic from it once we have had it. ive been very lucky to have next to no morning sickness, im just extremely exhausted and feel generally very yuck in the afternoons/evenings. this cold has just knocked me though as i cant sleep! im dropping ds off at daycare shortly and im going to lay around ALL day - really hope i can get some sleep!

Good to hear from your Dancing! Sucks that you're sick, but awesome that you've managed to avoid the dreaded ms so far. Hope you rest up and get rid of that cold quick smart!

DP & I managed to escape the gastro, amazingly, considering I was vomited on numerous times (DP escaped that too... why is it always me?? lol) but i've been feeling queasy every since. So perhaps I have a it slightly. Oh well soldier on I guess.

I'm hoping people learn to mind their own business too, it's frustrating. Everytime i'm asked in from of DP it starts the conversation between us about TTC and i'm just not ready, but feel terribly guilty that I dont' want to give DP what he wants. I keep trying to explain to him that I'm the one that has 9 months of pregnancy (i don't do pregnant well, in fact, i hate it) and have to give birth, and breastfeed and all that on top of dealing with my depression and anxiety. I think he gets it, but I still feel bad. Oh well... Maybe next year i'll be more into it.

Actually, I think that at the start of the year when I was all for TTC I was actually mostly doing it for him rather than me and that triggered my anxiety...

Hi lovely girls!

Sorry I have been so MIA! Life has been crazy. I'm 15 + 2 today, so hard to believe. Been really well, tummy has popped a bit but no movement etc. yet. Wishing I'd get some so I knew all was ok in there, but just have to be happy with getting fat and being tired here! Next scan is July 10 (morph scan) and we're going to find out if this little one is pink or blue!

I have also managed to land a full-time job (I know, the irony!) and my 'new' boss (I've worked at this school for a few years, but on a casual basis) has been fabulous. I'm going to try and work as far up to labour as I possibly can teaching small children in November heat and hopefully come back part time after Term 1 next year, but will play it by ear.

Pigeon, so sorry AF is showing up. I'm hoping so much for you that that beautiful BFP shows up before your cutoff. Are you still SMEPing?

JB - sorry about the gastro my love! How is DD apart from that? Thinking of you often x

congrats on the new job! oh the timing of it all! but at least your boss is understanding and very nice about it all. it sounds like you will be able to work something out that will suit you both hope bubs starts moving for you soon, its a great feeling. i dont think i felt anything with my son til about 18 wks, despite trying every night to coax him to move!
my next scan is on thursday, so 3 more sleeps. ended up getting an appt at the hospital ill be having them at so am going to have to wait an extra day (had a private appt on wed). am wondering if once i see them again it will start to sink in a little more...

Hi SKW! Glad everything is going well, congrats on the job it's great they are being so understanding Wow can't believe you are 15 weeks that's crazy...I didn't feel my babies until around the 20 week mark so def nothing to worry about. Ooh make sure you let us know if you are having pink or blue, i found out with all of mine it's so exciting

Thanks hon im okay with it after all I'm blessed with 3 healthy kids...we are going on an overseas trip if it doesn't happen for us so it's a nice distraction...kind of doing SMEP in our own way lol.

So exciting Dancing! I'd love to see a pic after your scan, how are you feeling? I bet you're starting to get excited twins are so amazing xx

just an update - 12 wk scan went well. both babies look perfectly healthy and were very active, they wouldnt stay still and cooperate for their photos!
attached is a pic of twin 2, twin 1's head is squashed on the left (twin 2 was dominating all the shots, seems like a feisty one) and the bottom pic is of the 2 of them, twin 1 at the top, twin 2 at the bottom.
we didnt get a nice one of them together as they just wouldnt cooperate!
