I don't do a lot of whole dinners in the thermomix, unless I run out of time. I mainly use it to make the many components of a meal. Such as... the fillings for wontons and sausage rolls, the spice mix for homemade KFC, the cheese sauce for cauliflower cheese, gravy for roasts, etc.

However, if you are looking for whole meals in there, here are a couple of soups that I like:
    Minestrone soup with cheese tortelli

    Chorizo, Potato and Cabbage soup
    http://tenina.com/2012/05/thermomix-...r-hot-mix-pro/

Get on to pinterest and look for thermomix recipes. You will find hundreds.

Easy going dinner here tonight, more of a "snack" but everyone enjoyed the cheese scone pizza scrolls ...things taste so good when you used fresh herbs from the garden too.

This is the recipe I used. Looks a bit simpler than the other one.

Yes you can cook fish and vegetables at the same time. I would put the salmon on the top tray and hard vegetables on the bottom of the varoma. Soft vegetables on the top with the salmon. I hope it turned out well

I keep hearing about the chicken & rice soup!! How many have tried that? Is it filling or do I need bread/rolls too?

    (Disclaimer: I'm b/f so currently ravenous 24/7!)

I love the chicken and brown rice soup. Pretty filling because it's full or rice and almond meal and veggies. She does suggest to serve some steamed veggies along with it if you have more than 4 mouths to feed

I think it is pretty filling - the rice really thickens it up. I'd probably serve it with a bread roll though if I could (too hard in our house as we are gluten free)
I have the chicken all chopped up and frozen ready to make this later on this week.
