    Personally I don't think the custard is great anyway! Will she be able to do a vegan bread? I know you can do it, just don't think someone who's inexperienced in vegan&gf cooking can.

    I just tried sneaking LSA and chia into our smoothie, kids wouldn't drink it (can't say I thought much of it either). I didn't put my usual banana in either as I was adding milk instead, def need the 'nana!

    We're out the next two nights but will make dips for a BBQ tomorrow. Thinking of trying the tuna dip from the EDC as DS2 loves tuna and I have all the other ingredients, anyone tried it?

    And re the CUSTARD, I would just do the normal thermy version as it is one of the big things that people love about it. Soooo yummy! (but yes, a pity for the kids, they can have some delicious sorbet tho!)

    Laksa, did you grind your chia seeds before hand? My kids don't notice the seeds as I blend mine for well over a minute and ALWAYS add banana!!!

    The custard is too eggy for me, I've grown to not like the taste bJMO

    Yes, I always add a nanii or 2! I have container of ground chia in my fridge. I use it in everything! Even in our bread or pickets! Once it's ground it needs to be kept there and it's best to get white seed if ur trying to hide it but I don't have to try tht hard with my girls!

    I'm blanching some almonds for the carob banana pie from the Vegetarian cookbook. Has anyone made this before? The picture looked too good to resist!
