DS ultimate favorite is "'Night Noises' by Mem Fox and I'm not sure why?

He also has recently fell in love with Oliver Jeffers book 'Way Back Home'

Does anyone know the name of the book about the class of kids who have an excursion to the jungle and page by page a great big anaconda swallows a kid and at the end the teacher shakes all of the kids out of the snake? I remember as a kid, I loved the bright illustrations..

Almost forgot, Julia Donaldson is a fantastic author - Chocolate Mousse for Greedy Goose, Room on the Broom & many more. Also a book called Bubble gum Bubble gum by Lisa Wheeler is a favourite here. Lastly (for now!) anything by Giles Andreae. Awesome writer.

There's even new Grug books! You can get them in KMart, Target or Big W, so probably chain bookstores too. I think we've got nearly the whole set
