Default Chance of success with IVF

    Hi,

I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but there is a website which calculates the chance of being successful in a given cycle, based on age, reason for treatment etc.

    http://www.ivfpredict.com/

It's obviously only for interest - I only had a 23% chance on the cycle I conceived, so a low % doesn't mean it can't, or won't happen....

Damn - meant to post in IVF section - not pregnancy section and I'm not sure how to move it...

Interesting... Though it looks like it only calculates the success per fresh stim cycle (ie: doesn't give an idea of likelihood of success with all the embryos fertilized from one stim cycle- including FETs ). You will see other stats which seem alot higher than what you get here (mine was 22.9%), and that's because they take into account that 1 stim cycle may yield a number of embryos that can be implanted later, thus increasing the chances of conception and live births).
