    I hate gore movies.

Paranormal Activities scared me witless. I have the One Year Rule, I watch the trailer, wait a year, watch the movie, wait another year, watch the trailer for the next one, repeat.
This is so my brain has time to go from "OMFG THE DOOR MOVED I'M GONNA DIE" to "Hey, ghost movies aren't scary. I'm not scared. I'm brave"

    It's a good system.

Me too. Baba Yaga was a childhood story for us, so when she popped up early in the movie my brother and I found the rest of it scary! I thought the second one was utter tripe though.

I am also creeped out by the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In the same thing as the Blair Witch Project, in one of the scenes, they apparently didn't tell the actress what was going on so she was screaming for real (well this is according to a few horror movie buff friends)

Paranormal Activity 1 was alright, but 2 scared the crap out of me! Also The Descent, and The Haunting in Connecticut, watched it last night and creeped me out big time.

Nothing has ever scared me like 'IT', which I saw at 12 years old. Even now if I see the DVD cover at a video shop I get a little chill!

Im a bit of a horror movie buff...not alot really scare me anymore but 'wolf creek' scared the cr@p out of me...not so much the actually move but our trip up morth a few weeks later . We stopped at a roadhouse in the middle of nowhere and i almost had a panic attack when i got out of the car . I had these horrible visions of the creepy guy standing at the counter behind the fan

I still reackon one of the most terrifying movies was 'psycho'...Its really what they DONT show thats makes a scarey movie. I was terrifed to have a shower for weeks! Alfred Hitchcock...MASTERMIND!!!
With the likes of Saw, hostel etc (which BTW i LOVE!!!) we really have been desensitised have we!!! I mean think about it...the opening scenes of these movies are terrifying but by then end of the movie we think (well i do anyway) 'What a GREAT movie'
