    Default Scans

Do you get more scans and visits to the clinic then you would with one baby and how often from 12 weeks on?

Usually at 20 weeks and then roughly every 4 weeks thereafter. But if your ob has a scanning machine in their office, you can be scanned every visit!

I lost count of how many scans I had! I had them fortnightly from 22 weeks until 30 weeks then weekly.

Hi I had regular scans for my twins because they were identical and the hospital was worried about TTS but it was great to see my boys kicking around regularly

    It depends on your twins.
I had Di-Di twins so the ideal was to have monthly growth scans from 20 weeks. I ended up with complications at 29 weeks so my scans turned weekly until delivery, and sometimes bi-weekly if the Ob wanted a quick look as an extra to my main scans. I had over 15 scans, 12 of which were full medical/growth scans taking over an hour each
