Default Suitable car seat for a tall 2yo

DD2 is 2 years 5 months and is about to outgrow her reversible baby seat (her shoulders are the same height as the top harness slots). She's very tall for her age (already 100cm) so I want to make sure I get her a new car seat that will last her through. What would you recommend? I'm sure the MaxiRider would be ok but they are quite expensive and it's only for my DHs car so won't get get used all the time. Any suggestion much appreciated.

Hubby has an infa-secure comfi booster thingo that we got for DS2 when DS1 came along. I'll look when he gets home. I have the maxirider but he is in it almost daily.

I think we have the same infa secure seat.

We have two, they're great, easy to use and DS seems very secure in his.

Does the infa secure seat have an inbuilt harness?? While she's tall for her age I think she's still too young for a regular booster.

I have the infa secure convertable booster seat also and yes it has a built in 5 point harness and is a nice seat. I got mine for around $189. This seat converts to a seat belt then a booster seat without the back bit.

My dd is the same age and same height.
I have a maxi rider ahr in my car and dh has a infa secure comfy cruiser in his.
She quite likes sitting in it!
It has an inbuilt harness as well.

Sounds like this infa secure seat is very popular. Where did you all buy yours from? Baby shop or do some of the major retailers sell them?

First was $129 from BigW on special. Second was from Baby Bunting for $189.

My kids use it from age 1 and up. Long term value I think

I had my 8yo in a maxi rider from just before she turned 3 until a couple of weeks ago. I will have her back in one when the insurance money comes in.
