    Default Girls names

I am finally having my little girl and I always was sure her name would be either Alexa or Amity. I have also recently liked Amalia and Xanthe, but not I am not sure. As you can see I don't want popular names say in the top 100 but I don't want real out there names too, I also don't go much on the older names such as Elenor etc If that makes sense.

Please, please suggest away, I want the perfect name. Thanks heaps

I voted on your last thread for Alexa or Amity. I still think Amity is a beautiful name.

If you dont use either of those names will you regret it? I ask this because when I was pregnant with DD1 we had a name picked out for pretty much the whole time and when I was in labour I suggested a name that hadnt ever been discussed......and 12 hours later our new baby girl was given the name never ever discussed. I love it, but everytime I heard our original name I kind of regretted that we didnt use it. Luckily baby #2 was a girl because we got to use our original name for her.

My dd is Amity and I think there are 3 other mums on here with Amity's. I live it and so many people comment on how gorgeous it is. I also live Xanthe. Definitely would consider it if I had another girl.

I like either of your original names. Particularly Alexa. The new ones, not so much. I remember one mum I met who called her daughter Amelie, and seemed to regret it, because she talked about how it made people, including her family, uncomfortable when saying it, perhaps because it's so close to Emily, but not quite? Sorry no other suggestions.
