Smile 7 weeks pregnant with few symptoms

Hi! I'm 38 yrs old and hubby and I are blessed to be pregnant through IVF after a miscarraige last year in March. I am 6wks and 5 days and have very few symptoms. My breasts are a little bigger and tender, I am peeing slightly more often, but other than that.... I feel great. I am not experiencing any morning sickness or nausea and not really cramping. I had some mild cramping a few days ago ( without bleeding ) but don't seem to have much since. I am told to enjoy a fairly symptom-free early pregnancy, but naturally can't help but worry. My first scan will be on Monday ( 7 weeks 2 days ). I also have a little gas and am constantly hungry! Would love to hear from others that had hardly any early pregnancy symptoms and turned out to be all good!

Thanks and good luck to all those expectant mums and ttc! My prayers are with you :-)

I had hardly any symptoms in either of my pregnancies and I now have two very healthy boys.
Like you I get tender boobs, but to be honest if it weren't for my ever increasing belly, I would not have felt pregnant at all!

    Hi, congrats!

My first two were pretty mild symptoms, but enough to know I was pregnant, I was REALLY tired and had sore breasts, but wasn't sick. The main thing though was just that I was completely exhausted.

My third- completely no symptoms, I wasn't tired, hungry, sick, no sore breasts- nothing. I try not to have any more scans than I have to, but at 9 weeks I rang my dr because I really didn't think I could be pregnant, and that I must've had a faulty test or something (even though I'd done a couple) hahaha! Of course, there was a little bubba there on the scan and I went on to have a great pregnancy and beautiful birth.

In hindsight I am grateful to have such easy pregnancies but at the time its really pretty unsettling, I can imagine moreso after a miscarriage.

    Try not to worry though

Thanks Tamara! I keep being told not to worry..... and I have a better 'feeling' about this pregnancy... but just so scared! Just a relief to hear from others who also had same experiences :-)

    Hi Annabella!
Thanks for the support! Again... its a relief to hear from others that didnt actually experience any morning sickness/nausea. Most of the women I know have complained about the terrible vomitting from 6wks onwards and I am not even turned off my food....hahaha...
I have an occassional nap ( I'm on hols ) and this is unusual for me, but i wouldnt say I was exhausted. Maybe that will come when I am back at work??
    Anyway, thanks again!

Firstly, congratulations!! I know exactly how you feel as we had IVF last year, it somehow can make you panic even more when you've had to fight harder (not to mention the huge cost ).

I didn't have many symptoms either, consider yourself lucky you SO FAR aren't experiencing morning sickness ......having said that, without realizing it you have actually mentioned plenty of symptoms. Here's a clear list to help remind you and put your mind at ease!!

    - slightly larger and tender breasts
    - peeing more frequently
    - had some mild cramps
    - a little gas
    - increased appetite

    Hi Pesca!
Congratulations on your IVF success! What an amazing journey it is.... we feel so blessed. Having PCOS was always going to make it 'challenging' for us to concieve. We feel so lucky for the chance that we've been given! We got 13 eggs with 4 that made it through the process. ( 3 frozen and the one we used :-)
I also keep telling myself that there are so many other 'symptoms' that I have ( even if they aren't nausea/cramping ). I didnt mention that I am extremely over-sensitive and teary ( hahaha.... poor hubby ) and my skin is quite dry....oh... and that dreaded blocked nose!!
It's hard not to think that I have to be feeling 'ill' to be pregnant. Perhaps I am just so overwhelmed by the fact that we are actually having a baby!
Thanks again for the words of support! cant believe how quickly and kindly people have responded!

I had no symptoms except tender breasts and tiredness until I was ten weeks, then all the symptoms in the book hit me like a ton of bricks!
Terrible ms, i was hospitalized once for exhaustion because I just couldn't keep anything down, migraines, pretty much sitting on the toilet all day lol, and massive mood swings!
    Poor dh!!!
So don't worry, it could still be brewing, but I hope for your sake that your pregnancy is dreamy!!!
