Does anyone live in Pimpama?

Hi, we have to move to Pimpama in 2 weeks. I have some questions about things in the area (Pimpama/Ormeau) if anyone can tell me. We will be living in the Hawthorne Woods area (mountain side of the Jacobs Well/Pimpama exit).
Swimming lessons - my son goes to lessons at the Southport pool. Where would the nearest pool be?
Grocery shopping - there don't seem to be any supermarkets or even petrol stations around. Where do you do your main shopping?
Daycare - any recommendations or places to avoid? Son is 2 next month.
Internet - I'm six months into a 2 year contract with Optus Broadband. Is it available in the area? I will call them, but if anyone knows....

Hi

I'm at Upper Coomera.

Closest pool would be Gullivers @ Upper Coomera.

Nearest Woolworths is Coomera City which also has a new BP opposite.

Can't advise on local day cares as we use one at Oxenford.

Also not sure on the Internet.

Coomera Clubhouse is in Coomera Springs and is a gorgeous day care. Very close to Pimpama, closer than Woolies even.
