    Default Singapore Shopping

We're hoping to go to Singapore at Easter for a week an while there I was hoping to get some baby stuff & also some clothes for dd. Can anyone recommend good shops to get baby & kids clothes at. Last time we went I only saw one kids shop & the prices were a couple of hundred dollars (all designer brands but well and truely out of my place range).

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.

There is LOADS of kids stuff in Singapore!!! I'd say you could easily buy all your stuff in Orchard Road - its basically one high street full of shopping centres. One to look out for in particular is called Paragon. The entire top level is dedicated to childrens stuff. Other places I would buy kids stuff at would be Plaza Singapura, Sun Tec and Great World City. To be honest though, Singaporeans love their exy kids stuff, so a lot of it will be at top dollar. When I lived there I always used to stick to the malls more frequented by locals. You'll be able to tell which ones they are, they don't have the glitz and glamour of the big shopping centres, and are fairly more basic. I used to find some great bargains in there, especially for cotton summer stuff considering it is so humid there. I can't remember any shop names in particular, but they are usually on the top level of malls, close to feeding and changing rooms etc.
