Its a big step to be brave enough to change to this thread! I'm really happy for you xx

Cjm, I'm just playing the waiting game at this stage. Good luck for your 12 week scan when it comes round. It's great to see bubs in there.

Afm I have a wicked sore throat ATM. Hurts to swallow and can only eat soft things grrr. Naturally my ear also really hurts too.

Cjm1 - it was my first appointment with my obstetrician, that's why I had the 10 week scan. Nuchal scan next, but I have a meeting with work before then. I was hoping to wait until after that before telling them, but I can't really have my meeting and then tell them a few days later. Nervous as I'm not sure how happy they will be, but what can you do?

My symptoms have settled down in terms of ms but I'm still getting quite fatigued which is hard on work days.

Fionaalice - congrats on your scan and beautiful baby boy, great news!

Lilybaby - congrats on your perfect bub too, great news for you and DH

Felicita - welcome across from the other thread. Awesome numbers, kind of a surreal feeling isn't it

    Hope you're feeling better Marzi.
    How's everyone else going?

    Haydos1979 - it's a wonderful emotional feeling.

Had my 2nd BT today, doubling time is under 40 hrs. hCG is up to 2956 (21dpo). Still a bit hard to believe that it's worked even though it was still morula on day 5.
They've put my first scan at 6wks 3days, so I have my doubts about being able to see the heartbeat that soon, especially since we started a day behind. I won't panic if we don't see the HB, but might be making them do another scan the following week. (I won't be cancelling the earlier scan either because I want a look at what's happening, the sooner the better.)
