Sorry you're in pain Maryz. The only cysts I've got any experience with are in the placenta. Hopefully your FS will be able to put your mind to rest on Thursday.

Felicita - yay for the second trimester! I can't wait to get there - I feel like a kid counting down the days to Christmas at the moment (my NT scan is 2 wks from tomorrow). I would like to skip the whole NT thing also, but DH feels quite strongly about it. I definitely don't want to do the CVS, but if the NT shows a high risk then I may go ahead with the amnio if we are really concerned.

Felicita: Yayy, congrats! Such a relief to get to the second trimester! I can't wait I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes super smoothly

Frostysmum: thanks, I am fine I guess apart from these aweful cysts. But the pain is really getting me down. I feel so uncomfortable all the time and heavy in the ovaries. It's yuck.

rb29: Good luck for your NT test. What week are you doing the test? In your 12th week? We're going to do it too and depending on results hopefully skip the amnio etc. I'm just not prepared to take any chances when it's taken me over 9 years to get pregnant.

AFM: Yeah just waiting to see the FS on Thurs so he can put my mind at rest I hope that all is well. Not sure how he can help me with the cysts at the moment but going to ask for another scan end of next week to check whether the 8cm cyst is getting any bigger.

Off to emergency this morning after a shocking night with unbearable pain in my left ovary. Hope they can do something. My obstetrician said to head straight to emergency, he's concerned it's ruptured or twisting.

Thanks Felicita and frostysmum. Unfortunately I have been in agony in pain since midnight last night. Got admitted into hospital 7am this morning with a suspected ruptured cyst. Unbearable pain all day and vomiting. The painkillers hardly help. I'm likely to be in hospital for several days. Worst pain ever in my life!! Started spotting again tonight so very worried. They doing scan tomorrow to see if everything ok. Fingers crossed!
